What is a Fit-to-Fly Certifciate?
A medical certificate confirming that you are in suitable health to undertake air travel – issued according to international standards.
When is it required?
In cases of certain medical conditions, recent surgeries, advanced pregnancy, chronic illnesses, or after a COVID-19 infection – depending on airline policies or entry requirements of the destination country.
What does the examination include?
Depending on the individual case, a brief clinical examination is performed, including medical history, blood pressure measurement, pulse oximetry, or other relevant assessments.
Which language is the certificate in?
The certificate is issued upon request in both German and English, including stamp, signature, and date of travel – ready to present to the airline or immigration authorities.
